YDK- Yu Di Korsou (YDK Shirt)- is inspired by one of the greatest designers of all times, Mister Yves Saint Laurent. Yves Saint Laurent worked as the head designer for Christian Dior for many years. After losing his job as head designer at Dior he started his own label the now so well known YSL designer label.

In the last couple of years the YSL-logo has become a Fashion statement with artists and well known people wearing T-shirts carrying this logo all over the world. Out of the immense respect for Mister Yves Saint Laurent and the coolness of the very popular T-shirts, the idea started to do something positive to boost our Island and the love for our Dushi Korsou. Compared to other islands in our region, Curacao is one of the places where there is an enormous lack of patriotism.
 

With these T’s and the design of the letters YDK, all united as one, we want to symbolize the unity we want on our island. With the diversity of colors we want to symbolize that YDK is not only for the one born as a Yu Di Korsou but for every single person, living on this island we love so dearly. It does not matter what you look like or where you are from, but if you live here and you love the island and you want it to be an even better place it already is, that is what makes you a true Yu Di Korsou.

For all the Yu di Korsou (s) who can identify with this feeling, let’s show some patriotism and pride by showing the world, we are Yu Di Korsou.
